Ik beschrijf mezelf als: Ok...here's the most important stuff --) I love my family, my friends, my dog, and myself. If you don't like hanging out with friends & family, having fun, and enjoying life...I'm not the gal for you. I'm also not the cookie-cutter image of perfection...I'm a Big, Beautiful Woman. If you can accept that or even embrace that and get to know me, you may just find you've found the one you were looking for.

I'm not looking for someone to take care of or to take care of me. I'm looking for a partner in life and love; someone to share all the ups and downs without falling apart. I love to laugh, talk, watch tv/movies, go out to eat, and most of all, enjoy life.

I was raised in a house full of laughter, and can't imagine a day without a good laugh! Laughter truly is the best medicine -- I hope you don't take yourself too seriously :) I can be silly and quirky...but love a dry sense of humor.

As much as I like to enjoy the lighter side of life, I also enjoy being serious...talking about our day, politics, the news, life. I love to read, and would so enjoy someone who likes to read and discuss our books together. Some of my other hobbies include chatting with friends online, cooking, writing, and bullmastiff's.

I know it's corny..but you must love dogs. I have a female bullmastiff who is just a doll. I can't imagine not having some type of pet...if you don't feel the same, that's ok, but I'm probably not the one for you.

I'm a true night-owl; always have been, probably always will be -- I even work night shift. That doesn't mean I don't like to do things in the day time though. I enjoy a nice walk on a spring day, a boat ride on the lake in the summer, raking leaves in the fall, and watching the first snow fall. I love to read, and can spend an entire day devouring a book under the right circumstances. I like movies and TV. I like games -- Wii, computer, board and card games. My match would be someone who enjoys some or all of these things, plus has separate interests of their own that they would like to share with me.

I like to travel, but currently I'm most often found somewhere between home, work, and spending time with my family. I'd love to travel more and more as I get older, especially in Europe and Asia, but I'm open to just about anywhere once! My favorite vacation was an all-inclusive in Mexico but I believe there are lots of favorites out there yet to be discovered! I also love theme parks, camping, meeting new people and learning new things.

I also like going out and finding new places to explore. I enjoy museums, shows, and concerts. I've never been a huge sports fan, but I know enough to have a decent conversation and I'm a quick learner! I love going to sporting events (GO SOXS!) or watching them at home on TV with someone special.

I love almost all the holidays, but especially Christmas, mostly because of the huge family gatherings. I have a large extended family, and I'm very close to my parents, brother, and his family. I'd really like to meet someone who values and cherishes their family as much as I do mine. Someone who would both join my family and all of our fun, but also include me in theirs.

My ideal match would love me for me and not the me they'd like me to be. Romance in everyday life; not always grand gestures, just simple acts that let me know they care. Someone who communicates with honesty and from the heart. A fun-loving spirit and gentle soul. A friend that would come home and share their day with me, while listening to me about mine. Someone who likes to learn new things each day, and would share what they learned with me.
